Poor Koko. A recently stitched video of my first debate opponent on Adam Sosnick’s SOSCast has been making the rounds on TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram. In April of 2022, I went on the premier show to “debate” Koko Beaute about what modern women’s dating standards ought to be. If you sift through the two years of comments, you’ll see a recurring theme:

“Insufferable!”

“Materialistic!”

“Just wait until she’s lonely and destitute at 35 with no eggs left!”

Two years later, that last sentiment appears to have been prophetic. Just this month, Koko posted a tearful TikTok video of herself lamenting her recent visit to the fertility doctor, who informed her she was down to the last of her viable eggs. Her obliviousness to her own irony made the revenge scenario all the sweeter for the blood cult of women’s accountability. Their prediction (for all women) came true. No one actually wins in this scenario. The vengeful commentariat celebrates their victory, dicks in hand, and women will still learn nothing from Koko’s Lament.

Women’s accountability is the euphemism average young men use in place of revenge or vindication. Make no mistake, I have zero sympathy for Koko’s condition, but I also see the code in the Matrix here. Revenge fantasies in fiction and the reality TV we call social media are grist for the mill for men and women. ‘Accountability’ is the moralistic way of sweetening our insatiable hunger for ‘comeuppance.’

I experienced Koko’s blasé indifference to average men firsthand. I was accused of being too diplomatic with her back then. Even today, the blood cult wishes Myron Gaines or John Zherka would’ve verbally smashed her in the face then. There is no want for a substantive conversation where a woman might course-correct her mindset and avoid Koko’s fate. That would be proactive accountability, and that’s fucking boring for the audience. No, it’s comeuppance that gets their heart rate up. It can be spiced up with the help of moralism and Bible scriptures to make it more self-righteously appealing, but ultimately, it’s a lust for comeuppance.
